How We Choose

The luxury hotels in Thailand we curate are chosen for qualities that resist easy summary: the particular quality of light at dusk on a certain terrace, the way a general manager greets a returning guest by name, the silence in a spa courtyard that genuine seclusion creates. We organise our collection by character rather than geography. Riverside heritage properties — converted merchant houses and plantation estates — offer a different relationship with time than the island sanctuaries rising above the Andaman Sea, where the horizon is the primary amenity.
